Jimmy Choo Perfume

Aha I'm back! laptop is fixed whooo! first post with more to come!

A topic I have not covered yet ... perfume....I got this perfume from my Aunt for my birthday. We went shopping and I tried loads of different types. They always smell nicer on other people! Anyway I had my eye on this one for a while now but I have never been that bothered buying new perfume's but I decided I needed a more grown up scent.

Available at:
http://www.boots.com/en/Jimmy-Choo-Eau-de-Parfum-40ml_1154901/

Other perfume's I use are
  • Amor Amor by Chacharel
  • Heat by Beyonce
  • Armani Code by Armani

I had been using Amor Amor for years I got given a free sample when I was younger and used it ever since. My Grandma bought me Heat and I really like it but I can never seem to smell it on myself, I have been told thats a good thing but I wish I could smell it on me haha. My friend got me an endless supply of Armani code for christmas and birthdays because she thought it was a blue bottle of Amor Amor bless her. I have grown to like it now and I eventually told her its a little bit different to Amor Amor.

Anyway my favorite perfume is my Jimmy Choo one so I don't use it often in the hope I will be able to smell it ... this does happen to everyone right?

What perfume's do you use?

Butter London- Blowing Raspberries

Hi

Just a short one from me, its my 2nd wedding anniversary today yey! :)

This is my latest nail varnish purchase, Blowing Raspberries by Butter London. I love this nail varnish when I buy one of these its a bit of a treat as they are pretty pricey £12 a bottle. I have noticed that they have started selling some of the colours at Boots which is great! I have always just had to guess when I order these online as I did with this one. I thought this colour was going to be more pinky than red but its just what I would call a juicy red. All in all the coverage is lovely. The quality is great, I will happily buy one of these again on special offer like I  did with this one. I got this one for £8 including delivery from naturisimo.com in their sale. This website was a great little find. Go and check it out! This is where I have ordered all of my Butter London nail varnish from.

Have you tried Butter London nail varnish before?

What do you think of this color?

Clarins BB cream

Hi!

I thought I would write a little review on the new Clarins BB Skin Perfecting Cream, I had heard rumors about this for ages. I know it has been been out in America for a while before it came out in the UK so when I saw it on Escentual.com I noticed they were offering samples. I got in touch and they kindly sent some out straight away, great customer service!

I was so excited to try it my first reactions were that the colours looked really dark but there is no harm in giving it a go. The texture itself was quite thick, I had tried a few BB creams previously and they had a similar texture so I thought this was pretty normal.

I applied a small amount to my face after I had took my other makeup off etc. I tried my best to blend and buff this but it was just too much of an effort to get this to work with my skin. I am very pale and had hoped that the light would have been alright as I had been recommended this by someone else who is quite pale. I am guessing we have the same shades as what they have in America etc but this is just way to dark for me. I think the texture is also not quite what I was looking for either as I was wanting more of a light weight BB cream.

I think if you have a darker skin tone then this would be worth a try if you are after a BB cream, it has an SPF in it too which is great. The main let down for me was the colouring and the texture being really thick.

Have you tried this BB cream?

I have just ordered Dior Nude BB Cream in 001, I have been using a trail and I love it, I also have treated myself to Dior Rosy Glow Blush yey. I bought these from Escentual.com they should be getting delivered this week :-)

Lush Event 12/05/2013

Good Afternoon :)

I have always been intrigued by Lush, the brightness of the shop, the overpowering aroma's when you walk by etc. I have bought a few items over the years but I have never really fully been able to go into the shop and be able to confidently pick something up and know what its for. I think this is what has kept me from going in more often.

When I found out that Danny @helloadventurer was organising a Lush Event I was really excited to get the opportunity to go. I loved the uniqueness of Lush, their passion for their natural products as well as fighting against animal testing.

On the afternoon of the event I met up with Elaine @Elaine_the2BBs before meeting up with some more beauty bloggers from the North East for some lunch. The event started at 5.30pm after the shops shut so we had the store to ourselves. We were greeted by Danny and his team which I have to say are an amazing credit to Lush.

We were educated about the background to Lush how the products are developed, the progress they are at with making as much of the products as possible naked. Their achievements regarding fighting against animal testing, their giant fridges, Pete the seaweed man. It was great to hear about a company which its staff obviously love working for. After hearing all that it made me feel proud to use Lush and be part of what that company stands for.

The plan for the evening was to split into two groups one would make a bath ballistic the other a cleanser, we would then stop for drinks/ snacks and swap over. I was in the first group to make a bath ballistic, the one we were being shown how to make was Space Girl, its purple in colour, smells lovely, all glittery and the best part is the popping candy inside!.

After a demonstration of Space Girl in action we were shown what ingredients we needed to combine and place into plastic moulds. I loved the look of Space Girl its one I have never used before. I have never used it simply because of the glitter, I am not a glittery bath person so by making it myself I was able to miss that part out yey! Below are photos of Space Girl in the silver bowl and my finished Space Girl ballistic minus the glitter! We had to let this set for 24 hours.

It was then time for a little break, we were all kindly offered cupcakes/ cake pops which were beautifully decorated and went down well with the lemonade. This little break before we swapped gave us all time to try and mingle with other beauty bloggers there and to have a good look and the products.

Break over. It was now our groups turn to make Angels On Bare Skin cleanser. We started off with a huge silver bowl for us to all add the ingredients after we got to have a smell/ snort of them all. Once combined Danny rolled it up like a swiss roll and cut it into segments for us all to take a piece.

After we had all finished making Angels On Bare Skin/ Space Girl we got the opportunity to buy some products. I bought another Comforter because it smells amazing and you bath looks so pretty! I also bought some of The Godmother soap to try, this smells just like the Bubble Gum Lip Scrub. Instead of just being given the products I had bought in a little bag they were put in a huge bag full of goodies! I was so shocked by the amount of items we got in our gift bags! Below is an image of the items we got inside. Thank you very much Lush! its a great way for me to try more of your products and become addicted love your plan, its working! :)

The day after the event I could not wait any longer I had to try Angels On Bare Skin Cleanser and the Catastrophe Cosmetic Face Mask, all I can say is WOW! Why had I not tried this stuff sooner?! Once I got over the texture of the cleanser I actually liked it, its a bit messy but your skin feels amazing. Next up, the face mask, there is actual blueberry bits in this so not the best look while wearing it but afterwards my skin felt so nice. I will 100% be buying these again and have recommended these to so many people, I cant wait to try the rest!

One last thing, just to say thank you to Danny and his team at Lush it was a fantastic event and I am now a Lush convert! I cant wait for the next event if I am lucky enough to go!

If you went to the Lush Event have you tried any of the products from your gift bag? What do you think?

Can you recommend me any other Lush products to buy?

Spare lip products I always carry

Hello All

I have started to become a lip product hauder, I now dont just carry my trusty Chap Stick I carry allot more. I have no idea why but I have gave myself too many options so they all come ...

I have:
  • Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick- Shade 19
  • Revlon Lip Butter- Shade 025 Peach
  • Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick- Shade Plum Jam
  • Nivea Hydro Care
  • Liz Earle Super Balm

Available at:
Rimmel- http://www.boots.com/en/Rimmel-Kate-Lasting-Finish-Lipstick_1230439/
Revlon- http://www.boots.com/en/Revlon-ColorBurst-8482-Lip-Butter_1252852/
Soap & Glory- http://www.boots.com/en/Soap-Glory-Sexy-Mother-Pucker-8482-Gloss-Stick-3D-Super-Colour-Volume-Lip-Shine-2-72g_1277067/
Liz Earle- http://uk.lizearle.com/superbalm.html
Nivea- http://www.boots.com/en/Nivea-Hydro-Care-Lip-Protection-With-Pure-Water-Aloe-Vera-4g_1132898/

Below I have swatched the colours, as you can tell I am not that exotic they are all pretty much natural reddy pinky colours. From top to bottom: Soap & Glory, Revlon, Rimmel.
I love the Soap & Glory Gloss Sticks I really want the pinky one, Plum Jam is a lovely shade, not overly pigmented but a great glossy not a sticky finish.
Revlon Lip butters are great the colours are lovely I have my eyes on a few more shades (Candy Apple is one) the only downside I found with them was that mine and my aunts melted, I have read other reviews and a few other people have said the same which is a shame.
I love the colour of the Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick, This was my first ever lipstick purchase I cant say I am converted I don't think I like the matt look, I will keep giving it a go!

Below are more of lip care products than anything else, the Nivea one smells amazing, if you can remember the candy lip sticks you would get in a pick'n mix when you were younger then that is exactly what they smell like yum!
The Liz Earle Superbalm is amazing, you have to warm it up slightly because its a bit gritty. Once warm its smooth and full of moisture, I don't just use this on my lips, if I have a dry patch on my elbows/ hand etc just pop a bit of that on its really soothing.

Can you suggest me a lovely lip product?

Latest buys

Hello hope you are enjoying the sun :)

I thought I would show you a few of my latest buys, I have been wanting a Real Techniques Stippling Brush for ages so when I went shopping with my friend she decided she wanted to trail some new foundations and brushes. I could let her have all the fun so I bought one too. I also have the face Core Collection set which arrived last week from Amazon, it was a bargain price I found this thanks to @Makeup_Magpie it was only £13.99 instead of £21.99!
I also bought Soap & Glory Glam A Lot body spray which I had been after for a while, I think this smells lovely. I have my eye on Soap & Glory's Perfume too I cant believe how cheap it is. I will treat  myself when I get paid.
Finally when I went to Asda to change some money for me going to the Netherlands I saw this scarf, I don't usually like skulls on things but I thought this was quite nice. I liked the added detailing on the corners having the small embellishments on the skulls. This was a bargain at only £6, I have wore it loads too!

Escentual.com

Good Afternoon everyone!

Its the bank holiday weekend whooo!!

For people who don't read my blog much I am on the hunt for the perfect foundation! I had been recommended Clarins BB Skin Perfection Cream from someone who lives in America. This has now finally came out in the UK so I was desperate to try it. My review today is more on a company rather then the product, I will do a product review at a later date.

I have only recently found the website www.escentual.com , I am so glad I did! I have been looking more and more at Guerlain products and keep wanting to try their foundations since I bought one of their lip glosses and had my makeup done by them in House of Fraser. Anyway they sell Guerlain products on their website too which is how I found the website and where I found the Clairins BB Skin Perfection Cream. I was reading the product description and it said if you would like a sample to tweet them.

I sent them a tweet mentioning that I would love to try it, they replied and asked me to send an email with my address and they would send me one out.I sent them my details and they replied on Twitter ridiculously quick saying that it had been popped in the post!

Today I was so excited coming home hoping that my sample would have arrived and wow it did I was very impressed. I opened the envelope which was wrote by hand to find a hand written note. This was such a nice personalised touch you hardly ever see these days! I was over the moon receiving my samples I was only expecting one! The service I received from this company and I had not spent a penny with them was fantastic. Its great that there is still some companies out there that care about every customer no matter how small their purchases are in my case it was just requesting a sample. So far from my experience I cannot rate this company highly enough and even if I don't get on with this foundation I will happily purchase items from this website in the future! You should go check them out if you have not already!

Little splurge

Good Afternoon!

I have been on a huge foundation hunt recently trying high end products because I never seem to get it right with high street ones so I have kind of gave up. I went shopping to try some foundation samples and ended up at the Guerlain counter in House of Fraser. I had never heard of this brand and felt quite guilty. The woman who served me, Andrea was so nice. She talked me thought lots of the products and sat me down and basically went wild. She did my full makeup! I had never in my life experienced someone putting mascara on me before so that was interesting. Anyway I was dreading seeing myself because I thought she had put loads on, I was so surprised when she gave me the mirror I looked like a pristine version of myself, slightly sunkissed with glossy lips and awake eyes!

I no longer looked "dead" as my aunt likes to tell me. I was really impressed. I asked her to write down all the products she used so I could come back and buy them. I ended up walking found House of Fraser for another 10 mins purposely going to the sunglasses department. The reason being, one to look for some new sunnies and two to secretly stare at the new makeup to see if I really wasn't orange.

On my way round I got stopped by two people who said my makeup looked lovely and natural, I did the badge check, they didn't work for Guerlain or even the make up department so I was impressed with that, I have never been told that before. Eventually I went back and purchased my first ever lip gloss and a high end one at that. This one was £21  and she gave me a sample of their latest perfume which is lovely but I think the scent is a bit too old for me.

Available at:
http://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/Guerlain+KissKiss+Gloss/148305665,default,pd.html

I cant tell you the colour because on the bottom it has 872, I think its rose in bloom. It is a lovely pinky colour with tiny small flecks of glitter in gold. It is not a sticky formula otherwise it would have driven me insane. It is very moisturizing too, I am looking forward to getting paid and going back to have another nosey at the make up again.

Have you bought anything from this brand before? have you went in for something before and come away with something else?

French Manicure

Good evening

I have bought some more nail varnish again, I bought the Rimmel Nail tip whitener a few weeks ago, people who follow me on Twitter would have saw a few posts about how good this is.
I bought this from Boots for £4.59 this is so easy to use, I used to try and buy the white strips to make the line straight or try my best with a normal brush, I ended up just leaving it. This has made life so much easier.

I used one coat of my base coat, Star Nails. then I painted the tips of my nails with the whitener. I left it to dry for a minute or so then applied two coats of Maybelline Forever Strong nail varnish in shade 76 French Manicure. Finally I used my top coat to make it dry super fast, Seche Vite. Below is the finished result.

I don't have a really steady hand but I think that looks quite good and I had lots of compliments from people asking me where I got my nails done. Have you tried this before?

Have a great weekend!

Handbag necessities

Hi Everyone!

I thought I would do a quick post on my handbag necessities, these teeny 4 items are a must in my bag! I went on a motorbike trip this weekend and kept these in my jacket as I didn't carry a bag, tad impractical while on a motorbike.

  • Apple Chap Stick- I use my apple lip balm all the time I have never been a person to reach for a lippy unless I am wearing a full face of makeup or its a special occasion etc.
  • Soap & Glory Hand Maid Anti Bac- I am obsessed with this it smells amazing and it doesn't dry out my hands which is great especially with all the rock climbing I'm doing at the moment.
  • Liz Earle Hand Cream- I used to carry around the massive bottle of this but my friend bought me the small tube for me to carry in my bag. I have to admit she was right it was daft of me to carry the huge tube! This smells amazing and helps with my dry hands!
  • Hair Brush- I got this from Boots a long time ago, I used to have one of those folded ones but lost it somewhere.

Available at:
Apple Chap Stick- http://www.boots.com/en/Chapstick-Apple_955281/

Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint

Hi all

It has been a while since I bought any Barry M Nail Varnish but I had to try the new Gelly Hi Shine Nail paint. when I saw it in shade watermelon I needed it! In my opinion this is more of a racing green than watermelon but thats why it appealed to me I love this colour. I got this from Boots for £3.99, Bargain!

I painted my nails with my base coat Star Nails as seen in previous posts, 2 coats of colour (you really don't need two coats but there were a few tiny areas I could notice which were a bit pale) then my Seche Vite Top Coat.

What do you think of the Barry M Hi Shine Nail Paint?

Hair Products

Hello

I thought I would write about what hair products I use if I want my hair to be amazingly soft etc. It sounds silly but I have average shampoos and conditioners which I know will make my hair look and feel nice but if I want to go all out I will use my more "special" hair items.

For Shampoo I love my Neal & Wolf Daily Ritual Cleansing Shampoo, I use this while alternating with other shampoos its guaranteed to make my hair feel lovely, you only need a small amount! For Conditioners I like my James Brown Hair Mask, I use this as a quick fix conditioner. I am too impatient to wait a long time this product works wonders even if on for only two minutes. For intense treatments I use my Macadamia Deep Repair Hair Mask, this smells amazing! I don't use this that often because I'm a shower person mainly but now and then a soak in the bath is acceptable so thats when this comes into play. I bought this from BeautyBay which had an offer on I have to admit I would never pay full price for it!

Available at:
Neal & Wolf Shampoo: http://www.beautybay.com/haircare/nealwolf/g/ritualdailycleansingshampoo/
James Brown Hair Mask: http://www.boots.com/en/James-Brown-London-Intensive-Mask-for-Hair-150ml_49371/
Macadamia Deep Repair Hair Mask: http://www.beautybay.com/haircare/macadamianaturaloil/g/deeprepairmasque/
I love my tangle teaser for applying hair masks in the bath and getting knots out of my hair after if any are left. I got this in a Beauty Box from BeautyBay which they have on at certain times.

If I am going out for a special occasion and I am either curling my hair or pinning it up etc I use Matrix Biolage Shine Endure Spray. This is basically a pump hair spray, its none crispy and makes your hair lovely and shiny. The biggest bonus for me is that you don't get that hairspray taste if you breath it in!

Day to day I don't really do much with my hair I usually just blast it with the hair dryer and let it flow, I use Bed Head After Party on the ends to tame my hair after it has been blow dried, this smells lovely and just smoothes everything out. I try not to wash my hair every day because its bad for your hair and makes it more greasy. It took me ages to get out of that habit, now I can go up to 3 days if I must, especially with using Batiste Dry Shampoo I am so glad I found this it just makes my hair feel fresh again. I still wont leave it down if I have used dry shampoo I still tie it up.

Finally if I want my hair to smell like I have just been to the salon I use Lisap Fashion Illuminante. I have never saw this in the shops I bought it direct with my hair dresser. This smells beautiful and always reminds me of a fresh hair chop so my hair feels fabulous!
Can you recommend any amazing hair products to me?

Sweets /food im loving at the moment

Hello

I came back from the Netherlands about two weeks ago now and I am on my last cow biscuit they are amazing we need these in the UK. I also bought these hard jelly's on the ferry home. They are berry flavored or so they say. All I can tell you is that they are addictive and extremely chewy my jaw was hurting for a day after getting carried away with a whole tub!

On another note in the UK Mars have learned that I actually can't live without those limited edition rabbits they bring out at Easter and that it is me clearing the shelves when Easter is coming to an end. Well I didn't have to do that this year because they have brought "Teasers" out, this is the best thing ever! at the moment it was on offer at £1.50 a bar  at Tesco you can also get it a small bar pppft big bar all the way! Cheers Mars! one happy bunny!

What's your favorite snack at the moment? Have you tried the new "Teasers" chocolate?

New sunnies

Good morning!

What miserable weather! Lets hope for more sun :-)

I have been on the hunt also for some sunglasses, my other pairs are Police and Ray Ban. My husband stole my Ray Bans from me so I didn't really get to use those lots. My old Police ones were slowly falling apart. I found two pairs of  sun glasses which I liked but ended up picking this pair.

I will only use sunglasses which offer 100% UV protection my eyes are very important to me so I will protect them. This is my main reason for not skimping out on glasses. I got these from Fenwicks Newcastle.

Have you bought some sunglasses recently in the hope for a summer like me haha?

YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat foundation

Hello

Foundation hunt again, I went to YSL at Debenhams in the Metro Centre and was not that impressed with their service at YSL it took them ages to even realize I was looking. When she did come over she shade matched me by getting a colour which was BR20 and giving me a lovely tribal stripe down my chin with her unwashed hands over the top of my make up. She then handed me a mirror, classy! I just rubbed it in and asked for a sample and ran away basically. I was not impressed by that  at all. I had heard to many good reviews on this foundation all I needed was some great customer service and I would have bought it!

Anyway I went to Boots but their YSL person had went home so there was no one to serve me apart from a lady who stunk of fake tan and kept chewing gum in my face, quick exit yet again. This time I went to House of Fraser, the lady was lovely bit on the quick side only put it on one cheek but a least she took my other make up off first. She gave me the sample B10. Which weirdly wasn't my shade but she didn't have the next one up? This had me confused but I have been giving them a go anyway

Available at:
http://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/Yves+Saint+Laurent+Le+Teint+Touche

Top= B10
Bottom= BR20
I have had these for about a week now, I am not sure that they are my colour they seem a bit pale. The photo makes them look yellow but they are not. I don't think this is the right foundation for me I just feel slightly washed out. And for £29 thats not so cool. My search continues.

Have you experienced the tribal stripe/ crap customer service from YSL before?

My Mascara's and Base

Good Morning!

To start off my blogging everyday this week here is my main Mascara collection, I was wanting to give a proper review on these so I have waited a while before I posted this. I have
  • Seventeen Doll'd Up in black £6.29 (3 for 2 at the moment!)
  • Benefit They're real in black £18.50 is what I paid but its went up to £19.50!
  • Liz Earle Smudgeproof Mascara in black £14.50
  • Liz Earle Lash Care intensifying Mascara Base £10.50

I bought the Liz Earle mascara and base when they first came out, I Iove anything by Liz Earle. I really like the mascara base it separates my lashes and makes them look more defined. I wasn't too impressed with the mascara, at first I thought it was amazing, no clumps. I did struggle with the straight wand getting the tiny lashes in the corners but when I eventually got all of them it worked with the base beautifully.
There is only one thing I was really disappointed with the mascara base was that I was using it one day and I think there must have been too much pressure inside the container or something but it practically exploded and I lost most of it after about the 4th time using it. Now I am just scraping the excess left. I would recommend the mascara base I have been using it with other mascara's too and getting great results.

Available at:
Smudgeproof Mascara-http://uk.lizearle.com/eyes/lash-definition-smudgeproof-mascara.html
Lash Care Base- http://uk.lizearle.com/eyes/lash-care-intensifying-mascara-base.html
The Benefit mascara I bought also when that first came out, it is so expensive but at the time I was going to a party after work and thought I should treat myself. I was so impressed like everyone else but now I have had it a while its not my go to mascara because it has went quite clumpy quickly. The first few times using it it was fantastic. I wont be repurchasing this one again mainly because of the price tag and how long it lasted.

Available at:
Benefit They're Real- http://www.boots.com/en/benefit-theyre-real-mascara_1231677/
Seventeen Doll'd Up- http://www.boots.com/en/SEVENTEEN-Dolld-Up-Mascara_1303111/
I bought the Seventeen Doll'd Up Mascara again as it happens when it first came out, I got a free liquid pen liner which I was so excited to use until I noticed I had managed to knock the lid off and it dried up oopps. I love this mascara! The shape of the brush is so good, it can reach all my lashes in the corner of my eye which I find quite difficult to get with a straight brushes. It has not went clumpy and I have has this for a while now. I love the results I get when I use it with the mascara base by Liz Earle.

Which Mascara's do you have? have you tried any of the ones I own?

Fabb Events Newcastle 13/04/2013

Hello

I thought I best get this post up pretty sharpish since some people had theirs up an hour or so after the event!

On Saturday I attended a @FabbEvents Newcastle bloggers meet up. I am useless at parking in town so I took the metro, brave move. The event was held at Tiger Tiger near The Gate. I have never been to Tiger Tiger before drunk or sober so I think I amused a staff member by asking if I was in Tiger Tiger because inside it doesn't say it anywhere. The event was held upstairs in the Kanola room. I was met outside the room by Ray(@raywhoisshe) and Tor (@tornumber9 ) and had one of those "they are real!?" moments. It was lovely to meet them they were so nice and down to earth.

I went inside noticed everyone was huddled in little booths I felt like a bit of a fool and walked back out to where Ray and Tor were. They asked me if I had spoke to any of the other girls before the event which I had luckily the night before, Elaine (@Elaine_the2BBs). Tor and Ray helped me find her which I was so pleased about.

The Kanola room was beach themed there was flowers everywhere, beach hut styled booths and fancy cocktails. A couple of the girls got a treasure chest which was huge! no one really noticed until the barman walked over with a sparkler to finish it off haha.

We had a few guest speakers, Rosie from Tinned Bananas who spoke to us about her fashion line, she had brought a few items into show us the SS13 collection. The patterns on the clothes were amazing I would have love a pair of hot pants for when I do trampolining!

Later on Sandra Tang spoke to us about Newcastle Fashion week, we were all lucky enough to get a ticket to the event. What I loved most about this talk was that the tops for Newcastle Fashion week are being sold at Fenwicks and all the money raised goes to Cash for Kids which is such a great cause!

I ended up sticking with Elaine most of the time we were there but mingled with a few other people. We ended up talking to Maddie (@Madi_jonesx) and Sarah (@MissBosson) near the who were both lovely! I am sorry if I didn't mention you I am useless at remembering peoples names!

Throughout the event there were giveaways where we had to tweet to win the prizes, I was lucky enough to win some of the items. Below is a photo of all the lovely freebies/ prizes I got from the event.

Thank you Ray and Tor for arranging this event it was a fantastic way to meet other bloggers and I will happily meet up/ go to another blogger event again!. Anyone unsure about attending a Fabb Event you should 100% go I also feel like I have made some new friends in the process!

I have also decided after attending the Fabb Events Newcastle I need to get my butt into gear and start blogging again. I had never stopped the shopping just the writing. I had lots of pictures taken and even a few drafts so to make up for it I am going to blog every day this week :)

No7 Makeup

Hi everyone!

I like to change my foundation allot, I dont know if its because I have not found "the one" or just because I'm picky.  I went to Boots a while back after seeing their advertisement about the little camera what takes multiple photos of your skin to tell you what shade foundation you are. Well this sounded magical to me because I have to say one of my biggest foundation fears is the tide marks around your jaw/ the tangoed look. After the little camera took my picture it was agreed that I was "Cool Vanilla".
I chose the light foundation because I like a really natural finish on my make up. This product also has SPF 15 in which is great.

I apply this on with my fingers as I think I get a better result than a sponge/ brush. the packaging itself is pretty average. I had a voucher for a bit of money off so I only ended up paying about £6/7 for this. I really like the colour the finish is lovely I still put a transparent powder over the top because I hate any type of shine on my face.

I also decided when I was at the no7 counter I needed a blusher. I ended up buying Soft Damson Mineral Perfection Blusher.  This is a beautiful colour and gives me a lovely healthy glow which I appreciate because I have had my aunt tell me I look dead at times. Love the slight glimmer it has it makes you look awake and fresh. The only thing about this is I am a beginner with blusher and this is very pigmented, confidence will come eventually but to me this is very strong so I have to go easy on the application a little goes a long way.

Below are some pictures showing the colours against my skin. They are lovely products and dont cost allot, I would 100% recommend you give them a go at least the foundation. Its not everyday a computer can tell you your exact foundation colour.

Have you tried these before? do you change your foundation as often as me haha?
